Concrete Boom Pump Operator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Pump Operator to join our KAM team. As a Concrete Pump Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining concrete pumping equipment to ensure the successful completion of various construction projects. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Operate equipment to transfer and distribute concrete to designated locations Set up and prepare the pump for operation, including connecting hoses, valves, and pipelines Safely maneuver the pump truck to access work areas and position the boom for precise concrete placement Monitor and control the flow and consistency of concrete during pumping operations Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as cleaning, greasing, and inspecting for any damages or malfunctions Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

Paperwork:

Complete and submit pump inspection forms, job ticket and maintenance forms. Keep an accurate timecard of time worked.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or similar role in the construction industry Strong knowledge of concrete forming, installation, and finishing techniques Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Familiarity with operating other construction vehicles, such as dump trucks, is a plus Ability to dig, pave, build, and perform physically demanding tasks as required Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Self Motivated and Punctual (ON TIME) •Common sense is more important than book learning, and a positive aƫtitude carries a lot of weight.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to meet DOT requirements for hearing and seeing. Must be able to verbally communicate to others. Good manual dexterity to climb on and around the pump in all weather conditions common to the area of the country. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds to overhead position. Must be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds. Must have the balance and dexterity to maneuver around a construction site, and must enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be drug and alcohol free. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Employees must be available during the "core" work hours of 4:00am to 4:30pm. Overtime is required as needed to meet deadlines on jobs and/or repairs. On call Saturdays as per rotating schedule.
