Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete finishing work on a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise finishing techniques, ensuring durable and visually appealing concrete surfaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your craftsmanship. Duties Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools to achieve specified textures and finishes. Set forms and molds accurately according to blueprints and schematics to ensure proper concrete shape and dimensions. Install rebar reinforcement and assist with concrete forming to provide structural integrity. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery safely and efficiently. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements precisely. Perform finishing tasks including troweling, floating, caulking, and sealing joints for a polished surface. Assist with masonry, stucco, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related construction activities as needed. Requirements Proven experience in concrete finishing, with strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete pumping systems. Familiarity with rebar installation, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, roof work, and masonry techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks on construction sites. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction site operations and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and schematics accurately. Valid driver's license with commercial driving certification preferred for operating heavy machinery or transporting materials.
