Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise concrete finishing tasks on a variety of construction projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. Your expertise will ensure that concrete surfaces are smooth, durable, and meet all specified standards. Responsibilities Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools. Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete finishing tasks according to specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and concrete cutting tools safely and efficiently. Install rebar reinforcement and construct formwork to prepare for concrete pouring and ensure structural integrity. Perform rebar installation, concrete pouring, and finishing operations while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Conduct surface inspections to identify imperfections or defects and apply corrective measures like plastering or additional finishing. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople to coordinate work sequences on construction sites. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and team members. Requirements Proven experience as a concrete finisher with a strong understanding of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation. Demonstrated ability to perform concrete forming, formwork construction, rebar installation, and concrete cutting with precision. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and the ability to implement safety protocols consistently. Skilled in working on diverse construction projects including renovations, hardscape installations, flooring, and masonry work. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and operate heavy machinery required for large-scale projects. Strong communication skills for interpreting blueprints/specifications and collaborating effectively with team members. Construction workplace experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship in concrete finishing and related trades such as carpentry or plastering is preferred.
