Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and play a vital role in transforming blueprints into durable, high-quality concrete structures. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to hardscape installations, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge. As a key contributor, you'll be instrumental in ensuring concrete surfaces are finished to perfection, contributing to the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of each project. Responsibilities Prepare concrete forms and set up rebar reinforcement according to schematics and blueprints Operate power tools and hand tools for mixing, pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, smoothing, and sealing to achieve desired textures and finishes Assist with the installation of masonry elements, stucco, or other related materials during renovation or new construction projects Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure precise execution of concrete placement and finishing tasks Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring site safety at all times Qualifications Prior construction site experience with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry, carpentry, or roofing Knowledge of concrete mixing procedures using mixers or pumps, along with proficiency in operating heavy equipment when necessary Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to concrete projects Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods during demanding projects Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment operation Experience with rebar installation, form setting, plastering, caulking, tile laying or flooring installation is a plus Strong commitment to safety standards and ability to work effectively within a team environment We are dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive workplace where energetic individuals can thrive.
