Job Title:
Concrete Repair and Finishers Job Description Join a leading company in the Concrete Industry as a Concrete Repair/Finisher. This is a temp-to-hire role involving work on various concrete construction projects, ensuring precision and quality in building wooden forms and finishing concrete surfaces. Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
  • Shape or cut materials to precise measurements and assemble boards, timber, or plywood to the necessary size.
  • Build wooden forms in the shape of the structure, securing them with nails, bolts, screws, or anchor rods using hand tools, machines, or a power saw.
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions, shape, design, and materials required.
  • Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of wooden structures and repair or replace them using hand tools.
  • Deck Drain Installation.
  • Epoxy / Chemical grout injection.
  • Provide a floated, troweled, or textured surface as specified and cut joints to control cracking.
  • Operate machines that speed production and semi-automate the placing and finishing process.
  • Cure and protect concrete surfaces.
  • Properly use dry pack grouting, epoxy coating, and other specialty products, anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other inserts in freshly placed concrete.
  • Install specialty concrete and apply architectural surface treatments such as hardeners, coloring, textures, or patterns.
  • Saw, cut, or core drill existing concrete.
  • Restore concrete surfaces; repair, resurface, and replace damaged sections of floors, walls, pavements, and other concrete structures.
  • Train and instruct new team members.
