Concrete Subcontractor / Lead Concrete Specialist (Form, Pour & Finish)

Competitive piece-rate or per-job pricing + strong earning potential About the Opportunity We are a growing concrete contractor in Palm Beach County looking for an experienced, reliable Concrete Subcontractor who can take ownership of jobs from start to finish. You will handle site evaluations, accurate estimating, forming, pouring, and high-quality finishing on residential and light commercial projects. If you are a skilled finisher who also understands the business side of concrete work, we want to talk to you. Key Responsibilities Attend job leads and bid walks to assess site conditions and scope of work Prepare accurate labor, material, and total job estimates Build and set forms for slabs, driveways, patios, footings, curbs, sidewalks, pool decks, and structural concrete Place reinforcement (rebar, wire mesh, post-tension cables) per plans Coordinate concrete deliveries, pours, and placement Finish concrete to high standards (broom, trowel, stamped, colored, exposed aggregate, or decorative finishes) Perform curing, sealing, and final site cleanup Ensure all work meets Florida Building Code, project specifications, and safety standards Communicate professionally with homeowners, general contractors, and our team Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in all phases of concrete work (forming, pouring, and finishing) Strong ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications Proven estimating and bidding experience Excellent concrete finishing skills (flatwork and decorative) Knowledge of proper mix designs, admixtures, and troubleshooting placement issues Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck and trailer a plus) Own basic hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment Ability to work independently and manage small crews when required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Reliable, drug-free, and professional attitude Highly Desired Skills (Big Plus) Experience with decorative concrete (stamped, stained, polished) Florida concrete contractor license or qualifying individual status Experience with pool decks, retaining walls, or elevated structural slabs Basic crew leadership or mentoring abilities Spanish/English bilingual What We Offer Steady year-round work in Palm Beach County Opportunity to grow with a reputable local contractor Support with material procurement, equipment, and larger projects Fast payment terms on completed and approved work If you are a skilled concrete professional who can estimate accurately, execute cleanly, and deliver excellent results on time, we want you on our team.
