Concrete Worker Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Worker to join our team in Atlanta. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month, and does not include accommodation. This job is open to Indian and Malayalee candidates who are fluent in English.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare construction sites by cleaning and leveling the area
• Set up forms for pouring concrete according to blueprints and plans
• Mix and pour concrete into forms using various tools and equipment
• Smooth and level the surface of the concrete, ensuring no air pockets or gaps
• Use hand tools to apply finishing touches, such as edging or stamping patterns
• Monitor curing process and make adjustments as needed
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work area after each shift
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Concrete Worker or similar role
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent hand-eye coordination with attention to detail
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities needed
• Safety-conscious attitude with knowledge of proper handling of tools and equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certification in concrete work or related training is a plus
• Indian or Malayalee national with fluency in English
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding job that requires standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, etc. The work may be performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
