Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Laborer and be a vital part of building durable, high-quality structures! In this energetic role, you'll work hands-on with concrete and related materials to bring architectural visions to life. Your contributions will help shape the foundation of commercial, residential, and public projects, ensuring safety, precision, and excellence at every step. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to impactful construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces. Set up and dismantle formwork and rebar frameworks according to blueprints and schematics. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to transport and position concrete materials. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Install rebar reinforcement for structural stability in foundations, walls, and slabs. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining safety protocols. Support masonry, stucco, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related tasks as needed on-site. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing techniques. Mechanical knowledge including operation of concrete mixers, pumps, and power tools. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to concrete work. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes if required. Knowledge of rebar installation, form building, carpentry (including trim carpentry), and metal stud framing is a plus. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites; willingness to adhere strictly to safety standards.
