Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Coating Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality coatings to concrete surfaces, enhancing durability and aesthetic appeal across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform plain concrete into resilient, visually appealing surfaces that stand the test of time. Duties Prepare concrete surfaces through cleaning, grinding, and surface treatment to ensure optimal coating adhesion Mix and apply various types of coatings, including epoxy, polyurethane, and specialized industrial finishes using hand tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), and conventional spray equipment Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately follow project requirements Use ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely to access hard-to-reach areas during application Perform surface repairs such as patching cracks, filling holes, and restoring damaged areas before coating application Adhere strictly to safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection, using proper fall protection gear, and following safety protocols during all phases of work Conduct visual color comparisons and quality inspections to ensure consistent finish standards across all coated surfaces Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines Skills Extensive experience with construction site painting including surface preparation and coating application techniques Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including industrial airless systems), brushes, rollers, and other application equipment Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes related to coating projects Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and color theory principles for precise color matching Skilled in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, masonry finishing, plastering, drywall installation and finishing Familiarity with renovation projects involving fixture installation, restoration work, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco application, caulking and sealing techniques Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating coverage rates accurately Knowledge of safety regulations including respiratory protection standards and safe ladder use practices Experience with construction estimating for coating projects is a plus but not required Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for effective team collaboration Join us in delivering top-tier concrete coating solutions that combine durability with aesthetic excellence!
