Precast Concrete Laborer

Job Summary:

The General Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to support the operations of the company. This role involves physical labor, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a safety first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Material Handling:

Load, unload, and move materials and products as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with team members and supervisor to complete tasks and meet deadlines.

Maintenance Tasks:

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of work area, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations of plant.

Equipment Operation:

Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively, if trained.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Block Manufacturing preferred. Forklift experience a plus but not required.

Skills:

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes; ability to operate hand and power tools; strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.

Communication:

Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Work Ethic:

Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Capacity to lift up to 50lbs regularly. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and environments.

Work Environment:

Safety first culture is a must. Involves working in indoor and outdoor settings. Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures for extended periods.

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
