  • Full-time Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and play a vital role in transforming blueprints into durable, high-quality concrete structures.
This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new build developments, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge. As a key contributor, you'll help ensure that concrete surfaces are finished to perfection, contributing to the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of each project. Responsibilities Prepare concrete forms and set up rebar frameworks according to schematics and blueprints, ensuring precise placement for structural integrity. Operate power tools and hand tools to pour, level, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces on various construction projects. Install rebar reinforcement and perform metal stud framing as needed for structural support. Use concrete mixers and concrete pumping equipment efficiently to ensure consistent flow and quality of concrete. Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, caulking, plastering, stucco application, and flooring installation to achieve smooth, durable surfaces. Read schematics and blueprints accurately to follow project specifications and ensure proper installation procedures. Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely during site preparation and concrete placement activities. Conduct restoration work including masonry repairs, tile laying, trim carpentry, roofing, and renovation tasks as required. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations while operating power tools and heavy machinery on construction sites. Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise execution of tasks. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, form setting, concrete mixing, pumping, and finishing techniques. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely including forklifts or other machinery used in concrete placement. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in concrete finishing and general construction work. Experience in commercial driving or operating specialized equipment beneficial for large-scale projects.
