Concrete Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the creation of durable, high-quality concrete structures by assisting with various tasks on construction sites. Duties Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to ensure smooth and level surfaces. Set up and dismantle formwork using carpentry skills and hand tools, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to strengthen concrete structures. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as concrete pumping or site preparation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate execution of projects. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for site preparation, material handling, and cleanup. Support masonry, stucco, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related tasks as needed on-site. Qualifications Prior construction site experience is highly preferred; familiarity with concrete work is a plus. Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and metal stud framing is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in various weather conditions. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, scaffolding, and site hazards. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques in concrete finishing, rebar installation, and renovation projects.
