Concrete General Laborer

Position Summary We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Concrete General Laborer to join our construction team. This position involves supporting the concrete crew in all phases of foundation and slab work—from site preparation through finishing. The ideal candidate has experience in Advanced rapid forms system, concrete placement and finishing, works well in a team environment, and can handle physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing job sites for concrete foundation and slab pours, including excavation, grading, and form setup. Set, align, and secure formwork for footings, foundations, and slabs according to specifications. Mix, pour, and spread concrete into forms or designated areas using tools such as rakes, shovels, and trowels. Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., compactors, power trowels, concrete saws) safely and efficiently. Maintain clean and organized work areas; remove debris and tools after each project. Follow site safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with finishing work, including smoothing, edging, and curing concrete surfaces. Support crew leaders and other trades as needed to ensure timely project completion. Qualifications Previous experience in concrete or general construction preferred (training available for motivated candidates). Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and perform physically demanding labor for extended periods. Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction practices. Reliable transportation to job sites. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail. Commitment to following safety procedures and teamwork.

Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
