Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Concrete Laborer for a job in Augusta ME. The ideal candidate will assist in various concrete construction tasks, including mixing, pouring, spreading, smoothing, and finishing concrete jobs. Pay is $23-26 an hour DOE Long term, year round work!
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and setup of forms and molds. Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools or power equipment. Level and smooth concrete using screeds, trowels, floats, and other tools. Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surfaces. Remove forms after concrete sets and clean work areas. Load and unload materials and tools from trucks. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by foreman or supervisor.
Requirements:
Previous experience in concrete or general construction is preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions. Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with finishing concrete surfaces. Knowledge of form setting and rebar installation. OSHA certification is a plus. If you are interested apply for the next steps
