Concrete Finisher/Carpenter - Midland, MI $20.00-29.00 per hour Local Projects Competitive Benefits Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team in Midland, MI. This role is responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, works well as part of a team, and is committed to maintaining a safe jobsite. Responsibilities Place, level, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment. Set forms, install reinforcing materials, and ensure proper alignment and grade. Perform finishing techniques including floating, troweling, edging, brooming, and stamping as required. Apply curing compounds or sealants and protect concrete during curing. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Repair and patch concrete surfaces as needed. Safely operate tools and equipment such as screeds, vibrators, power trowels, and saws. Essential Skills & Qualifications 3+ years on concrete finishing/carpentry experience in commercial settings. Ability to read tape measurers, levels, and blueprints. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Proficiency in using hand and power tools relating to concrete. Why Work Here?
