The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating smooth and durable concrete surfaces using various tools and techniques. Responsibilities
- Perform concrete finishing operations including smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete
- Use power tools and hand tools to shape and finish concrete surfaces
- Repair, restore, or renovate damaged concrete structures
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and layouts
- Operate concrete mixers and other equipment as needed
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other construction professionals on projects Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools for concrete finishing
- Knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
- Experience with trim carpentry for finishing touches
- Ability to read and understand blueprints for project requirements
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Familiarity with hardscape construction is a plus
