Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Ready Mix Concrete Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate commercial vehicles, including concrete mixers and dump trucks, to deliver high-quality concrete products to various construction sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and knowledge of construction processes will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations on-site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in building infrastructure and supporting large-scale projects with energy and precision. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles such as concrete mixers, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment to transport ready-mix concrete to designated construction sites. Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of concrete materials while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation throughout each shift. Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to confirm delivery schedules and site requirements. Assist with the setup of concrete pumping equipment and support concrete finishing tasks when necessary. Conduct routine mechanical checks on trucks and mixers to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Support on-site activities such as rebar installation, concrete forming, paving, and general construction tasks as needed. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. At least Class B and also current medical card Proven experience operating heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and concrete mixers. Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures and regulations. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting vehicle issues and performing basic maintenance. Familiarity with concrete pumping. Prior experience working on construction sites with an understanding of paving and concrete placement processes. Ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and stand or walk for extended periods.
