Concrete Finisher

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join ourteam . In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and smoothing concrete surfaces to ensure they meet high-quality standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces, including smoothing, troweling, and texturing to achieve desired finishes. Operate power tools and hand tools such as trowels, floats, edgers, and screeds to shape and finish concrete. Install rebar and metal reinforcement Set forms using accurate concrete forming. Coordinate with team members on heavy equipment operation like concrete pumps and mixers for efficient pouring. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for, transporting, and placing concrete materials on-site. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of work on the construction site.. Experience Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles with a strong understanding of concrete forming and placement techniques. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading detailed blueprints or schematics. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, masonry work, tile laying, flooring installation, or stucco application is highly desirable. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including mixers, pumps, forklifts or other machinery used in concrete work. Prior site experience in commercial or residential construction environments demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in finishing work. Certifications in relevant areas such as OSHA safety standards or specialized trade licenses are a plus but not mandatory.
