A Concrete Finisher works with cement workers in a construction process. Smoothes and levels concrete that has been poured, monitors concrete as it hardens, and applies sealants as needed.

This is not an entry-level position. This is also not a concrete-only position . Concrete work will make up approximately 30% of the job. When concrete work is not being performed, you will work alongside the crew on excavation, conduit installation, equipment foundations, site preparation, restoration, and other civil construction tasks. Applicants must be willing to travel, work outdoors, and perform hands-on construction work throughout the entire project. About the Position Dynamic EVC is an electrical and civil contractor specializing in turnkey electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Our crews perform the complete civil and electrical scope required to build commercial EV-charging sites throughout Missouri and the surrounding region. We are looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher who can take responsibility for producing professional-quality equipment pads, foundations, sidewalks, curbs, and other concrete work. The right candidate will bring strong finishing skills while also becoming a versatile member of our civil construction crew. Primary Responsibilities Set forms accurately according to construction plans, dimensions, and elevations Prepare subgrade, base material, reinforcement, and formwork for concrete placement Place, screed, float, edge, trowel, broom, and finish concrete Construct equipment pads, electrical-equipment foundations, sidewalks, curbs, and related flatwork Check forms, slopes, elevations, and finished dimensions before and during concrete placement Identify and correct finishing problems before the concrete sets Remove forms and complete concrete patching, cleanup, and site restoration Coordinate concrete activities with the project foreman and other crew members Read and follow site plans, concrete details, and construction drawings Assist with trenching, backfilling, conduit installation, grading, compaction, and general site work Assist with bollards, electrical-equipment placement, and EV-charger site construction Operate construction equipment when trained and authorized Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized jobsite Follow all company safety requirements and jobsite procedures Required Qualifications At least three years of professional concrete-finishing experience Demonstrated experience with concrete placement, flatwork, form setting, and finishing Ability to complete broom, smooth-trowel, edge, and other common finishes Ability to establish and maintain proper grades, slopes, elevations, and dimensions Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to read measurements and use levels, lasers, and concrete-finishing tools Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings Ability to perform physically demanding construction work Ability to lift and carry construction materials and work from kneeling or bent positions Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other jobsite conditions Willingness to travel approximately 75-85% of the time, including overnight travel Willingness to perform general civil construction work when concrete work is not underway Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively as part of a crew Preferred Qualifications Experience constructing commercial equipment pads and foundations Experience with reinforcement, anchor-bolt layouts, embeds, and concrete equipment foundations Experience operating mini excavators, compact track loaders, skid steers, or other construction equipment Experience with utility, electrical, or commercial civil construction Experience with grading, compaction, trenching, and underground conduit installation Class A CDL What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, year-round work 401(k) with company matching Paid time off On-the-job training in additional civil and infrastructure construction skills Opportunities for advancement within a growing company A professional, team-oriented work environment If you are an experienced concrete finisher who takes pride in producing clean, accurate work and is willing to contribute wherever the crew needs you, we encourage you to apply.
