Commercial Concrete Foreman Borek's Concrete Concord, NC Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $85,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Concrete finishing Supervising experience Full Job Description Borek's Concrete is a family owned and operated concrete finishing company, located out of Concord, NC. With over 30 years in the industry, we primarily work commercial construction projects around the greater Charlotte area. We are looking for a Hands-on Forman to lead, train, and work with our crew.
You should have experience with:
1. Jobsite Safety Ensure PPE is worn at all times. Stop unsafe conditions or practices immediately. Prioritize safety and take time to complete tasks safely. Lead by example in promoting safety on site. 2. Personnel Management Oversee all teams and work tasks, checking progress and quality regularly. Ensure all complete work meets company standards daily, with all concrete finished to the highest standard. Loading/unloading tools at the start/end of the day. Maintain positive, empathetic relationships with crew. Seek and respond to employee concerns. Communicate employee concerns and report employees failing to do responsibilities promptly. Work with the team lead to review drawings, resolve issues, and coordinate task planning for efficient and accurate completion. 3. Administrative Duties Monitor time clock daily for correct clock-ins, outs, and lunch breaks. Take workday photos at the beginning, during, and end of the day using the company device. Record time clock data, photos, and details in OneNote. Complete and submit all change order tickets daily. Submit jobsite shading sheets for billing by the 19th of each month or before the 20th if the job is complete. 4. Equipment and Materials Coordination Schedule and coordinate timely delivery of equipment and materials. Verify deliveries meet project needs and timelines. Qualified candidates should have a valid driver's license, be able to work in all weather conditions, be a team player, and be willing to work occasional early morning pours (midnight) when necessary.
