Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Laborer/Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw concrete into durable, smooth surfaces that meet project specifications and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from commercial buildings to renovation sites, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure the successful completion of high-quality concrete work that stands the test of time. Responsibilities Prepare concrete forms, molds, and frameworks using carpentry, metal stud framing, or other methods to shape poured concrete. Operate power tools and hand tools for mixing, pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete surfaces efficiently and safely. Install rebar and reinforcement materials to strengthen concrete structures according to schematics and blueprints. Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, troweling, and applying textures or patterns as specified in project plans. Use heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, or other machinery to transport and pour concrete accurately on site. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to interpret project requirements precisely. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols at all times. Assist with masonry, stucco application, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, or other related renovation tasks as needed. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety standards on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience in construction with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry. Mechanical knowledge of tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery used in concrete work. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with rebar installation, form building, and concrete pouring techniques. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions. Experience operating heavy equipment such as mixers or pumps is advantageous. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating large vehicles may be preferred. Join us in building solid foundations for communities!
