Job Description

  • Overview
  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced working superintendent to oversee commercial concrete construction projects within the Omaha Area.
Paving/Finish Floor experience is a must. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction teams, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards on-site. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.

  • Supervise daily operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion within allocated resources.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to guarantee that work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid, Prolog, and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
  • Review schematics and plans to ensure accurate execution of construction activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Experience
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within concrete construction industry.
  • Experience in Commercial Concrete Work Paving, Finish Floors, Sidewalks, & Steps
  • Familiarity with budgeting practices and financial management related to construction projects.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software such as HeavyBid, Prolog, and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse groups effectively.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and safety regulations (OSHA).
