Construction Foreman Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee concrete projects. As an on-site Construction Foreman, you will play a critical role in managing schedules, coordinating with project managers to ensure timely material orders, and maintaining effective communication and organization throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Manage concrete and masonry projects from inception to completion. Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with project managers to order materials in a timely manner. Coordinate and manage a team of up to 35 individuals. Conduct tool box talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to ensure safety protocols are followed. Calculate man-hours and prepare 2-week look-ahead schedules. Maintain effective organization and communication with all team members and stakeholders. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience managing concrete or masonry projects. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Experience in commercial construction projects. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage and lead a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual proficiency is preferred. Experience in conducting tool box talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Capability to calculate man-hours and manage scheduling effectively. Work Environment This position requires working on-site for a 5-day workweek at a project located in Bergen County. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kearny, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
