The Director of Sales - NVOCC is responsible for new business development and customer portfolio management focused specifically on Non‑Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCCs) at both a regional and national level. The Director of Sales - NVOCC requires strong hunter sales leadership skills, the ability to build strategic partnerships with NVOCCs, and prior experience within the international supply chain industry. Broad industry knowledge, strong relationships within the NVOCC community, and a disciplined, solution‑based sales approach are required. This position plays an integral role in influencing the continued expansion of

Key Responsibilities:
Ability to drive the full cycle sales process from identifying new NVOCC business opportunities to creating project and execution plans through market research, networking, and cold outreach Provide excellent negotiation skills (Price and Service) with experience developing and structuring agreements, while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance. Create customized warehousing, shipping and transportation solutions Successful at building and maintaining relationships with NVOCC leadership, pricing, procurement, and sales teams. Participation in RFIs/RFQs/RFPs Be a solution-based seller by conducting thorough assessments of clients' transportation, warehousing, and distribution requirements, including storage space, inventory management, handling processes, network optimization, and transportation needs. Teamwork with the internal employees aiming at providing excellent service Create compelling sales proposals and presentations that highlight the benefits and value proposition of MEDLOG's services, including cost savings, scalability, flexibility, and operational efficiency. Manage the sales pipeline, track opportunities through various stages of the sales cycle, and provide regular updates to management on sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics through company CRM. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the warehousing and logistics landscape, and leveraging this knowledge to identify key vendors, sales opportunities and develop competitive strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping, or a related field. 7+ years' experience preferably in Intermodal/Dray/Ocean with strong BCO Experience with a proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets. Must possess effective leadership skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, market trends, and customer needs. Ability to overcome customer objections Strong technology background and familiarization with Excel, Word, and a CRM Excel in a fast-paced sales environment where responsibility for individual performance and a team approach are valued Ability to balance attention to detail and quick execution time Strong communication, customer service, presentation, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills Results-oriented mindset and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment Hold true to company core values:
