The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to perform various tasks related to the finishing and restoration of concrete surfaces. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in a construction site environment, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. Responsibilities Prepare and set up concrete forms for various projects, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Pour, spread, and finish concrete using hand tools and heavy equipment. Smooth and level surfaces using various finishing techniques to achieve desired textures. Restore damaged concrete surfaces through repair techniques and methods. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the installation of related materials such as drywall and masonry as needed. Perform construction estimating tasks to provide accurate material needs for projects. Construct curbing, sidewalk, and ADA ramps. Skills Proficient mechanical knowledge related to concrete forming and finishing processes. Experience with heavy equipment operation relevant to concrete work. Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques and practices. Ability to effectively restore and repair existing concrete structures. Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures. Knowledge of drywall installation methods is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
