This role involves various tasks related to concrete installation, finishing, and restoration, requiring both physical strength and technical knowledge. Duties Assist in the preparation of concrete mixes and operate concrete mixers. Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks to ensure high-quality results. Install rebar and other reinforcements as required for structural integrity. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications. Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Participate in renovation projects, including plastering, masonry, and flooring installation. Operate heavy equipment as needed for specific tasks. Requirements Previous experience in construction or concrete work is preferred. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Experience with hardscape installation techniques is beneficial. Knowledge of caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and metal stud framing is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day. Strong understanding of safety practices on construction sites. Willingness to learn new skills related to welding, tile laying, concrete pumping, and restoration work. A valid commercial driver's license may be required for specific roles within the team. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
