Job Description

Concrete Worker Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Concrete Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete construction, formwork, carpentry, rebar installation, and concrete placement. This position requires the ability to work safely, operate construction equipment and power tools, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Responsibilities Construct, install, and remove concrete forms for foundations, slabs, walls, footings, and other concrete structures. Perform rough carpentry related to concrete formwork and site preparation. Measure, cut, place, and tie reinforcing steel (rebar) according to project specifications. Assist with concrete pours, including placement, screeding, finishing, and curing operations. Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently. Operate heavy equipment and machinery as assigned, including skid steers, excavators, loaders, and compactors. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and layout drawings. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling as needed. Work collaboratively with supervisors, foremen, and other crew members to complete projects on schedule. Requirements Valid OSHA 10 Certification (required). Previous experience in concrete construction, formwork, carpentry, and rebar installation preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment and construction machinery. Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with commercial and residential concrete construction. Equipment certifications and operator experience. Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
