Job Description

Overview Responsible for leading the crew and running the day-to-day work for foundation walls and footers in the Cincinnati area. This person plans the work, leads the crew, checks quality, keeps the job moving, and makes sure the work is done safely, correctly, and on schedule. Main Responsibilities Lead and train the crew on foundation wall and footer work. Start each day with an AM huddle and clear work plan. Assign work and make sure each team member understands expectations. Review plans, drawings, and job information before and during the work. Plan manpower, materials, tools, equipment, concrete, inspections, and job needs. Lead layout, forming, bracing, pouring, stripping, and cleanup. Make sure footers, walls, embeds, anchor bolts, elevations, and openings are completed per plans. Check forms, bracing, layout, and elevations before concrete placement. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Field Superintendent, inspectors, suppliers, and other trades. Make sure the crew follows safety rules and wears required PPE. Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and safe. Inspect work daily to help prevent mistakes and rework. Complete daily reports and make sure crew time is accurate and turned in on time. Hold team members accountable for attendance, conduct, safety, and work quality. Perform hands-on work as needed to help the crew complete the job. Required Skills and Experience Experience with foundation walls, footers, forming, bracing, layout, and concrete placement. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, Lead, or other construction leadership position. Ability to read and understand blueprints and job specifications. Strong communication and leadership skills. Able to plan work, solve problems, and make good field decisions. Dependable, organized, and able to keep the job moving. Willing to work hands-on when needed.

From $30.00 per hour
