Concrete Finisher

Overview We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to set and align concrete forms, placing, finishing, and smoothing concrete surfaces to meet project specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set and align concrete forms to proper grade and specifications. Spread, level, smooth, and finish freshly poured concrete using tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and power finishing equipment. Monitor and manage concrete curing processes and environmental effects. Install expansion joints and edge finishing per job requirements. Repair and patch imperfections in finished concrete as needed. Maintain clean and safe worksites; follow all safety policies and OSHA standards. Collaborate with crew members to complete jobs on schedule and to specification. Qualifications Local 404/860 union or non union High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. 2+ years of concrete finishing experience (or equivalent combination of experience and training). Ability to use hand-held and power concrete finishing tools and equipment. Strong understanding of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and curing methods.• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be physically able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

OSHA 10/30

hour certification preferred but not required.
