Job details Summary Spherion $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Permanent Industry construction, trades & mining (Construction and Extraction Occupations) Reference number D_26-00064-Prof Job details The Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an established and growing construction company in Mansfield / Columbus area is seeking a Concrete Foreman with pay up to $40 an hour + Bonus based on skill set & experience. If selected, day ONE you are this companies employee!•We are seeking a skilled Concrete Carpenter Foreman to lead daily onsite construction activities, including layout, excavation, and forming of footers, walls, and slabs. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support field crews to complete daily concrete pour activities. Overcome obstacles to ensure field personnel can efficiently place and finish concrete. Complete daily reports, work tickets, safety forms, and other required documentation. Collaborate with management to create pour plans, including Client, equipment, and supplies. Coordinate with other foremen to share resources across projects as needed. Ensure crews follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Participate in and support the training of field employees. Promote a strong culture of safety on the jobsite. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner, including within the community. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. 30-Hour OSHA Certification. Strong communication and leadership skills; training/seminars preferred. At least 2 years of leadership experience in construction preferred. Knowledge of construction procedures, OSHA regulations, and safety practices. Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work independently. Willingness to travel to job sites daily (no permanent office location). High energy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong relationship-building skills with project managers, foremen, field staff, and temp agencies. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality and a positive attitude.
