We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Foreman specializing in footers and walls to join our team. As a Commercial Foreman at Engelman Construction, you will oversee the daily operations of concrete projects, specifically focusing on the construction of footers and walls. You will lead a skilled crew, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in maintaining project timelines and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of footer and wall construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Lead and mentor a team of concrete laborers, providing guidance and training as needed. Collaborate with project managers and estimators to review project plans and schedules. Ensure proper setup, leveling, and installation of forms and rebar for footers and walls. Monitor work progress and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals. Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols on the job site. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process. Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment used on-site. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus. 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, with a focus on footers and walls. Proven experience in a foreman or supervisory role in a commercial construction setting. Strong knowledge of concrete materials, techniques, and industry standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
