Concrete Finisher Form Setter

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Form Setter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and finishing concrete forms to create durable, high-quality concrete structures. Your expertise will ensure that all concrete projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to precise specifications. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately set up forms for concrete pouring Install rebar and metal supports within forms to reinforce concrete structures Construct and assemble formwork using hand tools, power tools, carpentry skills, and heavy equipment as needed Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and stability of forms before pouring concrete Finish poured concrete by smoothing surfaces, applying textures, caulking joints, and performing touch-ups for a polished appearance Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently during the pouring process Conduct inspections of completed forms and finished surfaces to meet quality standards and project specifications Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on concrete forming and finishing Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete work such as mixers, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy lifting gear Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in rebar installation, masonry techniques, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and related trades preferred Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project schematics is a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely Knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Valid driver's license with commercial driving or heavy equipment operation certification is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams Join us in building lasting structures while advancing your career!
