Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing techniques and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on construction projects. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Duties Prepare and set up work areas by placing forms, reinforcing materials, and ensuring proper alignment. Pour, spread, and finish concrete using various tools and techniques to achieve desired textures and finishes. Monitor the curing process of concrete to ensure optimal strength and durability. Conduct quality control checks to ensure that finished surfaces meet project specifications and standards. Collaborate with other construction team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Utilize construction estimating software such as ProCore or HeavyBid for project planning and budgeting as needed. Experience Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher in a construction setting is required. Familiarity with construction site operations, including pipeline installation and heavy equipment usage is preferred. Knowledge of budgeting processes related to concrete projects is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control in all aspects of work. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
