Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 6 am-4 pm As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of form setups, maintaining concrete quality, assessing concrete strength, and verifying cable tensions. You will follow proper practices as per ACI and PCI standards.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Check forms for accuracy, including dimensions, details, and returns. Verify reinforcing, hardware placement, and hardware size. Collaborate with engineering, drafting, and production staff to resolve discrepancies. Use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Essential Skills:
Working knowledge of PCI tolerances and ACI standards. Ability to bend at the waist or work in a kneeling position. Capability to work in adverse weather conditions, including heat and cold.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Quality control and assurance experience. Inspection skills. Experience with hand and power tools. Experience in precast concrete and concrete finishing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work Environment:
You will work in a large facility with over 160 employees. The environment is not temperature controlled and can be dirty due to concrete and wood products. It is somewhat loud, and steel-toed boots and work jeans are required. We provide hard hats and safety glasses. The work schedule is from 5 AM or 6 AM to 3 PM or 4 PM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays available for overtime.
