About the Role As a Concrete Construction Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of our projects. You will be responsible for the precise execution of formwork and the expert finishing of concrete surfaces to ensure every pour meets rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities Construct and secure durable formwork, ensuring accurate dimensions and alignment for complex structures. Direct concrete placement, utilizing tools like come-alongs and shovels to achieve uniform distribution. Execute high-quality finishing techniques using power screeds, bull floats, and trowels to achieve specified grades. Install reinforcing steel and prepare subgrade materials to provide a solid foundation for all pours. Create clean expansion joints and edges to enhance both the durability and appearance of flatwork. Restore and repair concrete surfaces using grinders and chisels to correct imperfections. Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to guide the layout and assembly of structural forms. Maintain a safe, efficient job site by adhering to all PPE requirements and collaborating with the construction crew. Qualifications Required Skills 2+ years of professional experience in concrete finishing and form setting. Demonstrated expertise in using hand and power tools for concrete surface refinement. Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and project layouts. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in varied outdoor environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills Experience with ADA compliance and accessibility standards in concrete work. Proficiency in operating specialized machinery such as power screeds and grinders. Strong problem-solving skills to address site-specific challenges during the pour process.
