Job Description

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete, aggregate (rock) and sand to the batch plants. We are hiring Batchman in Harlingen, Texas. The Batchman is responsible for managing daily concrete production, ensuring accurate batching, and ensuring quality control standards. Duties include, but are not limited, to the following: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Perform daily pre/post plant inspections. Maintain accurate records of all materials batched and ensure timely reporting. Operate batching equipment to produce concrete per mix designs and schedules. Verify material inventory and communicate needs for replenishment. Follow all PPE protocols, including proper use, care, and timely replacement. Maintain the cleanliness of plant and report any required maintenance. Promptly report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor. Perform general laborer duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
More than one year of running a Ready Mix Batch Plant preferred. Knowledge of concrete materials and production processes. Valid Texas license required and ability to pass an MVR verification. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain deadlines. Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and physical examination. Ability to travel to various Ready-Mix plants as needed. Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and early mornings. Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality and consistency.
