Job Description
Job Title Concrete Finisher Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for placing, leveling, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces on residential projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with concrete crews, understands finishing techniques, and follows all jobsite safety procedures. Responsibilities Prepare, set, and finish concrete surfaces according to project specifications Spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand and power tools Operate finishing tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, and power trowels Form edges, joints, and decorative finishes as needed Monitor concrete curing process and apply curing compounds Read and interpret blueprints and site plans Assist with concrete pours, grading, and cleanup Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working conditions Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times Work collaboratively with supervisors, laborers, and subcontractors Qualifications Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher preferred Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials Ability to operate hand and power tools safely Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Valid driver's license preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds Frequent bending, kneeling, and standing Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions Ability to perform physically demanding labor for extended periods Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends and overtime as needed Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health insurance (if applicable) Paid time off and holidays Career advancement opportunities Work Location Greater Houston Area How to Apply Please submit your application, resume, and relevant experience to [Insert Email or Contact Information].
