About the Role We are seeking a skilled Concrete Construction Specialist to join our field operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise execution of structural concrete projects, ensuring that all formwork, reinforcement, and finishing meet high-quality standards for durability and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and site layouts to accurately set, brace, and align formwork for diverse concrete structures. Manage the installation of rebar, wire mesh, and expansion joints to ensure structural integrity. Execute precise concrete placement, screeding, and finishing to achieve exact elevations and drainage slopes. Operate specialized equipment including power screeds, vibrators, and various hand-finishing tools. Coordinate with logistics teams and concrete suppliers to ensure efficient pour sequencing and site readiness. Maintain a high standard of site safety by strictly adhering to PPE requirements and traffic control protocols. Qualifications Required Skills 3-5 years of hands-on experience in concrete formwork and professional finishing techniques. Demonstrated ability to read and translate complex construction drawings into physical structures. Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and heavy finishing machinery. Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor in varied outdoor weather conditions. Preferred Skills In-depth knowledge of ADA compliance standards for ramps and public walkways. Familiarity with TxDOT or similar regional construction specifications. Experience in managing complex formwork systems such as steel or modular bracing.
