Full Job Description Job Overview Position Summary:
We're looking for an experienced installer to lead job sites and train alongside our crew. This is not an entry-level position — you should already know your way around surface prep, moisture mitigation, and multi-coat epoxy/polyaspartic/polyurea systems, and be comfortable following manufacturer spec sheets exactly (not "close enough").
Responsibilities:
Lead on-site installation of epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurea, and urethane cement flooring systems Perform diamond grinding, surface prep, and moisture testing per spec Follow manufacturer installation specifications precisely — this is a specification-driven trade, not a "wing it" trade Work efficiently within crew man-hour budgets on both residential and commercial jobs Represent AES professionally on client sites, including commercial and government facilities Train and mentor helper-level crew as we scale
Requirements:
Prior hands-on experience with epoxy, polyaspartic, or polyurea flooring installation (required — this is not a trainee role) Ability to read and follow technical/manufacturer spec sheets Must be able to pass a background check and obtain access credentials for U.S. military installations (JBSA and similar federal facilities). This is a hard requirement — candidates with disqualifying criminal history or unresolved federal ID/background issues will not be able to work these sites. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Physically able to perform grinding, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and standing for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on job sites We're a small, growing company where your work directly shapes our reputation on bigger jobs — including a growing pipeline of commercial and government contract opportunities. Real growth potential for the right person as we scale.
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
Benefits:
Opportunities for advancement Tools provided
Work Location:
In person
