What You'll Do Interpret elevations, layouts, and formwork drawings from the Foreman/Survey team Set, align, and brace wood, steel, and SIM forms for flatwork, curbs, gutters, ramps, and structural elements Install hardware: wall ties, chamfer strips, expansion joints, rebar chairs, and bracing systems Verify line, grade, and slope using smart levels, tapes, string lines, and grade pins Cut and prep form lumber, stakes, and strong backs to exact dimensions Place, tie, and cut rebar and wire mesh with correct spacing and overlap Install detectable warnings, ADA-compliant ramp slopes, armored joints, and embedded fixtures Coordinate concrete deliveries—staging, chute positioning, and pour sequencing Screed to elevation and maintain proper drainage slope Finish surfaces using edgers, hand floats, jointers, brooms, and finishing equipment Operate walk-behind screeds, vibrators, and finishing machines safely Keep work zones orderly; perform traffic control/flagging as needed Adhere to PPE, fall protection, and confined space protocols; assist with additional tasks as assigned Qualifications 3-5 years in concrete form setting and finishing (or equivalent training) Capable of reading plans, layouts, and elevation marks Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and finishing gear Knowledge of ADA, TxDOT, and standard concrete specs preferred Physical Demands Outdoor work year-round in all weather conditions Extended standing, bending, kneeling, and other strenuous tasks Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance Exposure to dust, noise, and vibration typical of construction sites Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Voluntary life, accident, critical illness, and pet insurance 401(k) plan Quarterly bonus PTO and paid holidays EAP and wellness resources Tuition reimbursement and continuing education Scholarships for dependents (eligibility applies) Company events, community involvement, and quarterly State of the Company meetings Proficiencies Concrete Installation & Finishing ADA Concrete Pour Grade Layout Rebar Joints Equipment Bull Float Come-alongs Edgers Screed Trowels Grinders Equal Opportunity & Work Authorization E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
