Join Our Team We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Concrete Plant Batchman/Dispatcher to oversee the daily production and delivery of ready-mix concrete. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring quality concrete production, efficient truck scheduling, and outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Responsibilities Batch ready-mix concrete in accordance with mix designs and quality standards. Coordinate and dispatch delivery trucks to maximize efficiency and meet customer schedules. Monitor production to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with company specifications. Communicate with drivers, customers, contractors, and sales personnel regarding delivery schedules and job site needs. Maintain accurate production, inventory, and delivery records. Monitor raw material inventories and notify management of supply needs. Troubleshoot production or scheduling issues quickly to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and environmental regulations. Work closely with plant personnel to maintain efficient daily operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a concrete batchman, dispatcher, or ready-mix plant operator required . Knowledge of ready-mix concrete production, mix designs, and batching software. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency. High school diploma or equivalent required. Typically Monday-Friday schedule but must be willing and available to work Saturdays and early mornings.
