This role is vital in ensuring that all concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Concrete Foreman, you will coordinate daily operations, manage teams of skilled workers, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with construction safety regulations. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity. Duties Lead and supervise concrete crews, managing daily tasks to meet project timelines and specifications Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide work activities Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to optimize workflow Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations across all site activities Oversee quality control measures, including material inspections and testing with tools such as ohmmeters Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain smooth operations on-site Requirements Proven experience supervising concrete or heavy civil construction projects in a commercial or infrastructure setting Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and safety protocols Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and managing construction drawing review processes Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards and quality assurance Knowledge of OSHA regulations and federal construction safety requirements Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring clear management directives Construction site experience with a focus on pipeline projects or large-scale concrete installations is highly desirable Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for quality assurance purposes Valid management certification or training in construction safety management is preferred Join us as a Concrete Foreman and take charge of exciting projects where your leadership makes a tangible impact!
