Concrete Finisher / Laborer

Rainier Dynamics LLC is hiring a Concrete Finisher / Laborer to help build our initial field crew. We are a startup concrete restoration contractor serving the Puget Sound region, focused on roadway panels, sidewalks, curbs, ADA ramps, and related public-works concrete repair. This is a hands-on field position for someone who wants to grow with a small company from the beginning. The role supports concrete removal, site preparation, forming, placement, finishing, curing, cleanup, and general jobsite readiness. This position will also perform general labor and basic maintenance tasks at active job sites, the company yard, shop, and staging areas as needed. We are looking for someone who shows up on time, works safely, takes direction well, and takes pride in clean, professional work. The right person does not need to know everything on day one, but they must be dependable, coachable, and willing to work hard as part of a small crew. What you'll do Assist with concrete demolition, removal, and cleanup Prepare subgrade and base for concrete replacement Help set, brace, strip, and clean forms Assist with dowels, rebar, and embedded items as directed Place, screed, rake, edge, broom, and help finish concrete Apply curing compound and protect finished work Load, unload, clean, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment Perform general labor and basic yard, shop, and jobsite maintenance as needed Keep job sites, staging areas, and company work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow direction from the foreman and work effectively as part of a small crew Basic requirements Some experience in construction, concrete, asphalt, utility, landscape, maintenance, or general labor Ability to work outdoors in Western Washington weather conditions Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day Reliable transportation to the shop or jobsite Strong attendance, punctuality, and willingness to learn Ability to follow direction, communicate clearly, and work safely Preferred, not required Concrete flatwork or public-works experience Experience with sidewalks, curbs, roadway panels, or ADA-related concrete work Valid driver's license OSHA 10, flagger card, or similar safety training ACI concrete certifications Why join Rainier Dynamics This is a chance to get in early with a growing company, build real responsibility over time, and help shape how the crew operates.
