Job Title:
Concrete Finishers Needed ASAP, Start This Week! Job Description This role supports commercial concrete projects, primarily focused on flatwork for new construction sites such as apartment buildings and hotels. You will work closely with a lead worker to help set up, pour, and break down concrete forms, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. Responsibilities Assist the lead worker with daily concrete operations on commercial construction projects. Transport and position forms and materials as directed to prepare areas for concrete pours. Wheelbarrow and place concrete to designated locations on the job site. Help set, secure, and align concrete forms before pouring. Assist with basic troweling and surface work as directed to achieve proper finish quality. Tear down and remove forms after concrete has set, ensuring safe and efficient cleanup. Use hand tools such as hammers, tape measures, and other basic tools to support concrete tasks. Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Work collaboratively with the crew to complete tasks on time and meet project specifications. Perform physically demanding labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials throughout the workday. Essential Skills At least 2 years of hands-on concrete experience, preferably on commercial projects. Proficiency in basic concrete labor tasks such as form handling, material movement, and site cleanup. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. Experience using hand tools commonly used in concrete work, including hammers and tape measures. Comfort working with wheelbarrows to transport concrete and materials. Understanding of basic construction site safety practices. Reliability and punctuality in attending scheduled shifts and completing assigned tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with concrete finishing and trowel work is a strong plus. Experience in commercial construction environments. Ability to take direction from a lead worker and work effectively as part of a crew. Ownership of basic personal tools such as a hammer and tape measure. Why Work Here? You will regularly handle concrete, forms, wheelbarrows, and hand tools in a dynamic job site setting where safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment are essential. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on meeting project timelines while maintaining quality workmanship. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $40.00/hr.
