Concrete Laborer

Position Summary The Concrete Restoration Laborer is responsible for restoring concrete surfaces affected by underground utility construction. This role supports crews by performing demolition, forming, pouring, finishing, and site clean-up activities to ensure all restoration work meets company and customer standards. Key Responsibilities Remove and replace concrete sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and roadways impacted by utility work Perform concrete demolition using hand tools and power equipment (jackhammers, saws, etc.) Prepare subgrade and base materials for concrete placement Set forms and assist with proper alignment and grading Mix, pour, and finish concrete to required specifications Assist in asphalt patching and general site restoration as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment Work closely with utility crews to ensure timely restoration of job sites Follow all safety procedures, including traffic control and PPE requirements Qualifications Previous experience in concrete work, construction labor, or utility restoration preferred Ability to operate basic hand tools and construction equipment Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques is a plus Ability to read basic construction plans or follow direction from supervisors Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver's license preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly Ability to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting Ability to perform repetitive manual labor for extended periods Work Environment Outdoor construction sites with exposure to weather, noise, dust, and heavy equipment Travel to various job sites may be required Schedule & Travel Full-time position with potential overtime Occasional travel depending on project location
