Concrete Finisher

Job Overview We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher(s) to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for forming, grading, preparing, and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality results on a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Duties Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level finishes. Install rebar and metal reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to ensure structural integrity. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise concrete forms and layouts. Perform tasks related to concrete forming, framing, and curing processes while adhering to safety standards. Conduct repairs and restoration work on existing concrete surfaces, including plastering, stucco application, and caulking. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other tradespeople to coordinate project activities effectively. Requirements Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete pumping systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks. Knowledge of rebar installation, metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, and roofing is highly desirable. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions clearly. Additional skills such as welding, plastering, renovation work, or carpentry are considered valuable assets.
