Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Electrical Foreman to oversee and lead multifamily electrical projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who brings proven leadership, a strong commitment to safety, high standards of workmanship, and a passion for developing field crews. The Foreman role plays a critical contributor to project success, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget while consistently modeling Hill Electric's core values of humility, community, excellence, commitment, and growth. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Performance Lead and supervise electrical crews on active job sites Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times Model professionalism, accountability, punctuality, and work quality Resolve job site challenges, conflicts, and coordination issues proactively Recognize and coach team members, supporting growth and accountability Participate in employee evaluations and performance development Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce a safety-first culture Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies Conduct weekly toolbox talks and complete required documentation Report incidents, hazards, and injuries promptly with proper documentation Ensure proper use of PPE and stocked first-aid kits Project Coordination Develop and manage project schedules aligned with labor hours Coordinate staffing needs and allocate crew members effectively Communicate regularly with Field Coordinators, Department Directors, and GCs Schedule and coordinate inspections and utility locates Materials, Tools & Equipment Plan and request materials and equipment at least 48 hours in advance Track material usage and inventory across job sites and vehicles Maintain accountability for tools and equipment, including transfers and returns Report lost, damaged, or stolen tools immediately Technical Expertise Read, interpret, and analyze blueprints, schematics, and submittals Identify conflicts with other trades and submit RFIs or change requests Ensure installations meet NEC and project specifications Perform quality control and correct deficiencies Training & Mentorship Train and mentor apprentices and crew members Teach proper electrical methods, material usage, and blueprint navigation Support leadership development and apprenticeship programs Customer & Administrative Responsibilities Communicate professionally with customers and contractors Document work progress, changes, photos, and daily logs Enter and approve employee timecards and PTO in Traqspera Complete required training through Trainual Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required) OSHA 10 Certification 2-4 years of foreman-level leadership experience Strong electrical knowledge and blueprint proficiency Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage crews Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid holidays and PTO Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and supplemental insurance options 401(k) with company match Why Hill Electric? $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
