Overview As a Construction Grading Foreman, you'll lead field crews in grading and site preparation, keeping work aligned with project plans, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements. You'll coordinate equipment, materials, and daily priorities while communicating clearly with project teams and resolving field issues.

Your impact:

Accurate grading and proactive crew coordination help project teams deliver safe, well-prepared sites that support successful construction. Responsibilities Direct crew assignments, site activities, and equipment use; manage teams and maintain clear communication. Review blueprints and construction drawings, interpret technical details, and coordinate grading work with project schedules and other trades. Monitor progress, quality control, budgets, contracts, and construction schedule coordination; report issues and support project scheduling. Enforce construction safety management practices, OSHA requirements, and applicable federal construction safety regulations and construction regulations. Requirements Construction and grading experience, construction site experience, and supervising experience; commercial construction experience is preferred. Experience in construction management or construction project management, including crew management and managing teams in a construction management role. Ability to read blueprints, review construction drawings, and coordinate construction scheduling. Knowledge of construction safety, quality control, budgeting, contracts, and project scheduling. Familiarity with construction management software; strong managerial communication and knowledge of applicable construction regulations.

STARTING PAY

$35 - depending on experience
