This role is vital in ensuring that landscape structures such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, and decorative features are built to precise specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. As a key leader on our team, you will coordinate crews, manage project timelines, and ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship are maintained throughout each project. Your expertise in construction management and hardscape techniques will drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape hardscape crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans. Coordinate with clients, project managers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and clear communication of project requirements. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication processes necessary for hardscape installation. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control, compliance with specifications, and safety standards throughout each phase of work. Manage construction estimating tasks related to labor, materials, and equipment needs for upcoming projects. Ensure proper installation of concrete forming, masonry elements, drainage systems, and other structural components integral to hardscape features. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, site safety logs, and inspection reports. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on landscape hardscape projects. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, concrete finishing, masonry, carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing basics, plastering, stucco application, caulking techniques, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation (including tile laying), welding, restoration work, and remodeling processes. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation (such as skid steers or mini-excavators), and fabrication equipment. Familiarity with construction estimating software such as Bluebeam is preferred. Ability to read technical schematics related to plumbing and electrical systems relevant to landscape installations. Knowledge of construction inspection procedures ensuring compliance with safety codes and quality standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple projects simultaneously. Valid experience in construction site management including blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for complex projects involving masonry or concrete work.
