Electrical General Foreman

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrical General Foreman to join our construction management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead electrical projects from inception through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on-site. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical systems, construction site experience, and management expertise to drive successful project delivery. As an integral part of our team, you will oversee electrical installation activities, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes. Manage project schedules using construction management software, JobTread in particular, monitor progress and adjust plans as needed. Oversee budgeting and cost control measures related to electrical work, including procurement of materials and labor management. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards; conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols on site. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and project execution. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for testing electrical systems; perform quality control checks to verify proper installation and operation of electrical components. Supervise subcontractors and construction crews; provide guidance on schematics, construction estimating, and technical troubleshooting. Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety records, change orders, and contract compliance using construction management software i.e. JobTread. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial electrical construction projects along with High end spec home builds with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of construction management practices, including project scheduling, budgeting, and contracts management. Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings; familiarity with construction estimating tools. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety (OSHA compliance) and quality control. Proficiency with construction management software, ideally JobTread Excellent understanding of electrical systems design, schematics interpretation, pipeline installations, and troubleshooting techniques using tools like Ohmmeter. Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and OSHA regulations; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams; leadership experience in managing large-scale projects. $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
